Guys

I have just been speaking with Cobra Seats. They currently do not have a seat in production for the Twingos but if there is enough intrest they will start looking into getting them made.

There seats are made with runners attached to the subframes so no messing around bolting 100s of parts together. Before we can get anywhere we need to see how much intrest there will be in Cobras seats.

Also as a few guys have been having problems with pretensioners they will also but a fitting in the subframe for the pretensioners to mount on to no messing around with drilling your current mountings. Like the guy said to me on the phone there mountings will be like the OEM ones but just do there seats fit to them. Sounds alot easyier them some companys where your having to drill bits.

Here is a link to there website:-

Let me know what you think guys :)

Misano Anniversary looks nice :p

how much are they usually?

I did ask and he said the seats range from £170 - £2000ish depends on what seat you would be after. I have seen them in cars before and sat in them and the stunning seats. Reason im trying to get the intrest as im sure they would be great in the 133 and no messing arounf for sliders and pretenioners

Whatever seat you put in there will be "messing around" with the pre-tensioners.... they are attached to the OEM seat.....

This is my point im trying to put across Al they are going to make a mounting point for the preseioner to bolt on so you dont have to start drilling!

Tell me about it lol!

That would be one headache solved. You'll still have to cut the airbag wires and deal with them.

Wiring you will never beat but least if they have the mountings like the old seats it makes it alot easyier

Definitely. See what they say.

They will be happy to do them for us but only if there is enough intrest in them being done.

Its more the case of the pretensioner fittings on the subframe

My subframes are Cobra.
I guess he means specific Twingo ones?

Yeah, I know. I was merely commenting they have in the past made specific ones incorporating the pre-tensioner mounting point.

Wonder if the Corbeau ones have the pretensioner mountings looking at the sides of the seat frame. Im already talking with one of the guys at Corbeau UK aswell  Hopefully will have a reply from him in a couple of days hes just getting prices together for me ;)

nice. sorry for posting it here, might want to put it in a better section. when i talked to DT they said they'd bolt it down or weld subframe in for me, then rollers if i wanted to, again weld or bolt and then seat frames to rollers. least the stages can be bolted and seam weld in some places for a bit more strength. def liking the frame welded to the floor plan
