If this partnership is as successful as before, could there be a new Clio Williams on the horizon?

Considering it's an F1 partnership, I doubt we'll see any advances in the Renaultsport range.

I do believe that the new R&D put into the 2014 F1 cars will eventually filter out to the road cars though. Only time will tell!

Only if they're gonna fit a v6 into a clio again! Small capacity 4 cylinders made sense and were most applicable. BUT FIA (ferrari international assistance) decided upon the v6 after pressure from Ferrari due to them being unable to find any application for a 4 cylinder in their range. So the likelihood of direct technology filtering through is gonna be slim.

1.6 v6 does sound tiny, but then again on racing fuel/turbo/ and such they'll be hitting 600bhp+

most likely see it on a megane really, or perfect on a laguna and bring that up into the RenSport range to compete with some of the bigger model cars such as the bwm1s etc
