well my car is BACK at the dealership and after 30 mins of discussions i finally got a courtesy car off them (even though im under 21 and they didnt want to give me one).

this is what ive got... and omg!!! it has made me really miss a petrol engine:( 118i so not as powerful as mine.. but the sound of the engine at high revs and the sound of the turbo... im in love such a lush car.. although this one im driving is at a cost of £28,000.... ouch!!! its not even got the m-sport package or leather seats...

Funny. I drove a 116i whilst my car was in being bodged today. And I HATED it!

Heavy. Slow. Skinny tyres and when I found out how much they paid for such a low spec too!

Growing on me. Chap at work has just taken delivery of a 116 M Sport, very smart indeed.

I nearly opted for a 118d instead of the megane but the equipment levels are absolutely abysmal for the price of the car.

They are extremely over priced if you ask me.. ill get a pic of the interior tomorrow and its shocking

Don't like the front on the facelift 1 series. Even with the good engines.

We got a white 118d as courtesy when the 1 conv went for servicing.

Was great apart from stop start where you basically stall it everytine you stopped.

Also love the new idrive!

Nice it's rare to get a courtesy car under 21. I had one when I was 17

I'm not a fan of 118i. I like the older model that MovingShadow posted

I had a courtesy car for nearly 2 months at 19 and made them cover all costs

The lady that crashed into my car did £120 worth of damage but ended costing her insurance over £4000...

pritchp - What does the car have if there's no leather seats or M sport to make to cost so much?

My grandads bmws always have issues despite constant maintenance. And expensive fixes that make me cringe. But he still claims its super reliable and makes excuses for why things went wrong. Perhaps it's just this exposure to them but I couldn't own one myself

We can't comment much dad got his 1er on war pensions moterbility, however when we worked out the true cost of the car we called it stupidly overpriced and were glad all that he had to pay was fuel.

Think it worked out to around £38k for a brand new 120d convertible if it was bought not on the scheme.

Rip......off........

omg

bmw are doing my head in

so i may be without my car until the 22nd now...

they are incapable of sorting my car lol

they are having to send my car off now to get fixed (not sure why as it hasnt been sent off in the past....)

Now either there's something quite wrong with your car or there workshop is full of incompetent morons
