Ive decide i do want them to stick out further as they are very tucked in so am saving up for H&R DRA series 25mm spacers that are the ones that bolt to the hub and the existing bolts go on, so much easier and safer that way plus they will give the car a better stance :D sadly it means the wheels wont be on for a good 4 months now as they are £104 a pair :( so have to save

Looking good Hollie :)

Probably not a bad thing to wait before fitting them. Get rid of the winter salt from the roads first

Thanks singlespeed!!! yea its still very salty and it keeps getting frosty, Does anyone know how I could get hold of steve-o as i know he had a GT running 17" alloys with 30mm hubcentric spacers? does he have fb?

Here's my new spacers that I got today only got one pair to check they are okay; here's some pics:

They are 25mm each, they look so good and are really high quality, going to check they fit next week and order the second pair :D instructions look complicated but I've done all the safety checks on the bolts and they are all okay and fitting

they should do the job nicely. The instructions shouldn't be too bad.

Offer spacer up to wheel.
Make sure spigot ring is a good fit into wheel bore.
Insert original wheel bolts and make sure the bolts don't protrude through the back of the spacer.
Remove spacer from wheel.
Fit spacer to vehicle hub and make sure spigot ring is a good fit over hub.
Insert new bolts supplied and make sure the boltheads don't protrude above the face of the spacer.
(Not essential, but, as the spacers don't need to come off very often and theres not much to get hold of)
Remove spacer and add a smear of copper grease/copperslip on the hub face and spigot ring, which will help when you need remove them.
Fit wheel as per normal.
check the tyre clears bodywork with steering on full lock.

Stand back, marvel at your handy work and get some more pictures up... Then do the second side

Thank u I looked on videos on you tube aswell, it's the wording in the instructions that's a bit confusing but Im not fitting them myself cos it's not worth doing it wrong also I can't tighten the bolts up with the right torque wich is important with spacers :)
Shouldn't be too long till they r on, on Wednesday I'll get a pic up of them fitted with spacers just fingers crossed they fit, should do cos the tyres r no where near the wheelarch it's only touching the suspension by 3mm on full lock

:( if they don't fit with the spacers I'll be selling them so I've got my fingers crossed lol if not u fancy a swap haha!

They fit!!! Woop! So happy they look so much better with the 25mm spacers on just such a better stance!
Here's a pic, I'll post some more later:

They look spot on, just like they were meant for it :)

I take it theres no issues with tyre clearance to the inner arches on full lock?

Thank u :D No all good did full lock to the left and right and clear the inner arch and components perfectly, this was the main thing I was worried bout but they look perfect obviously the height needs lowering but at the mo I'm not worried bout the stance lol

Spot on :)

So 7x17 wheels, ET30 (ET55 with 25mm spacers) and 195/40/17 tyres work on the 1.2 non RS chassis
