Damaged car...Not best pleased!

Ok so thought I'd let my anger vent a bit on here,

some moronic idiot decided they would reversed their 4x4 right into the drivers side of my car earlier, have no idea how on earth they managed it but in doing so completely stoved the drivers door in and shattered the window into a billion pieces, and to top it all off my car was parked off road (on the path parking spaces) with nothing else around it at all! The only upside is he came over the road to find me and hand me his insurance details, I just pray they are legit details when I ring up the insurance tomorrow, i have pictures of both cars and his registration plate so hope this will help to get the ball rolling and hopefully it'll be sorted by December (never had insurance work done before so don't know how long it'll take)

+1 This is true, my clio got driven into when parked up a few weeks ago, left a lovely dent and scratches, who ever did it drove off....

Hope you get it sorted out! A similar thing happened to my twingo. The lady must have pulled into her drive and reversed out again to straighten up as that was the only possible way to do it.

Ring your insurance as soon as you can as mine didn't affect my no-claims within 24 hours of the accident. You might have to wait awhile when you car goes in for repairs as they may have to do multiple checks on the car as suspension could be damaged and lots of other little bits. Mine took almost 2 months to get it sorted

Someone backed into mine, only a scuff mind but they didn't come to me. Annoying, and you can't claim you didn't see a gleaming white car in the car park really, and it's always tucked right into the corner out of the way :roll:

Cheers guys, all sorted well on the way to being sorted, got a brand new corsa as a courtesy car just been delivered to me and they are coming out to collect my car to be repaired this afternoon hopefully it won't take an age to sort out and I have it back ready for the RR day in December!

I know tell me about it, just happy that he held his hands up, manned up and came found me and passed on all his details! Just can't wait to get mine back now and go play with my new custom/modified exhaust set-up I'd just finished doing with my work mate only got to experience it for one night so far :-(
