Wanting some DRL's on my Wind ... can source them on ebay etc but how easy are they to fit/wire up etc. Please remember I am a girl!!

Awaits sarcastic comments!

do you want them wired into your sidelights or do you want them as angel eyes? or are you asking about how to wire them in for example do you want them to wire into your sidelights so that when you put your sidelights on your drl's go on and go off when you put your main beams etc on or do you want them to just be on when the ignitions on which is the easy way to wire them?

Id like them to be on when the ignition is on and probably off when the main beam is on .. but so long as they are on when the ignition is on (ie daytime driving) I can do without them being off when the main beam is on, if you get what I mean?! Thanks!

okay well where you feed the wiring through is up to you, but the quickest and easiest way to do it is to do a direct feed on an ignition source and the easiest one to do is wiring it into your cigarette lighter. not necessarily the best option or tidiest you can have the wires hidden and out of sight running through the bulkhead and running around the engine bay secured nicely. wiring it into a direct ignition line would mean that they'd be on constantly day or night whilst you drive and will turn off when you turn the ignition to the off position. you could also feed them into the light switch relays so that when you turn your sidelight on and off they'd go on and off with the sidelights which is much tidier, best to contact an auto electrician because to get the job done right especially if you aren't to knowledgeable on the various electrical systems and i don't suspect it would cost too much
