When I was in Milton Keys last week and wondering off to take a pee in the outside loo, I found Chicken sitting in my car when I came back.

First I thought he just jumped into my car (roof was down) but apparently he opened my car from the inside door handel.

After trying to deadlock my car (pressing the close button a couple of times on the car flip-key) we were still able to open it from the inside door handel.

Is there something you need to do to turn it on or do I need to visit Renault?

There was another Wind there as well and it did work on his car.

Was the other wind RHD? I remember Oizo133 from Slovenia saying his 133 didn't have the deadlock function. Could be the same for other models on the continent?!

Yes it was a RHD

So LHD cars don't have deadlock?

I don't think the continental Winds have a Cat 1 alarm, either.

even the Twingo's LHD in europe dont have that alarm but chicken showed me the alarm in his RHD car and says it was standard ....

So RHD > LHD...
That makes me feel good inside

well somethings in my Dini made the RHD car jealous for instance the Speedometer in the RHD its covered in cheap plastic in the LHD it is sexy leather with white stitching also where the RHD has a L and R audio plug in the LHD version has USB and aux

so still LHD > RHD :p let the endless discussion begin

I have RHD, and have the USB & AUX :p I'm pretty sure a fair few of us do.

Well I'm right handed so technically...
I can drive with my left hand In a rhd car and have my right hand free for other things ;)

So was it an option or did it came standard ? cause i find that L an R audio plug quite weird ...

Everytime I think about you I touch myself

GhostZ, I can't remember off the top of my head; it may have been an option with an upgraded stereo pack, but the tunepoint unit may well have just been standard on FF models.

And re: the ruder points going on - we've had our fun guys, let's go back to on topic so we don't invoke mod wrath

All I wanted to do was try the sits so figured I'd hop in and have a look. Two things came from this.
1) I kinda like the wind now
2) shadow now knows to put his roof up at all times when visiting the local bush ;)

It does only take 12s to put up (according to all the adverts)
