Just gave my motorbike a real good clean as it looked in a rather sorry state . It is now becoming more of a summer/weekend toy rather than my daily driver to work so thought it would need some caring for. This is the first time ive tryed properly detailing it and found it rather challenging with all the small niggly places. Anyone got any ideas of how to get into hard to reach places? Also ise there anything i could use on the matt painted parts?

Started of by rinsing it all down with hose. Then cleaned it all over using dodojuice sour power shampoo and microfibre wash mit. Then i dryed it all over with a second microfibre wash mit. Luckily all but the fuel tank is plastic and mostly matt black or gold. Then went on to use dodojuice sour power pre wax and finally finished it of with purple haze wax to get rid of some minor scraches from small stones.

nice bike, only way I can think of cleaning all the nooks and crannies are detailing brushes but my pov is out of sight out of mind

just spent most of the afternoon getting new tyres for my ninja and fitting some gilles rearsets, hoping to do a trackday on saturday if the weather gets better

Lovely bike you have there mate!

to give it a really good clean, you should probably get the fuel tank and al the other trim parts of, in this way you're able to reach the places you can't see from the outside but are probably pretty dirty.

also, some silver indicators would look good

Dutchie ive only just got outta the idea of moding so dont get me into it again. Was going to get smoked indicators, led rear light, tail tidy, radiator cover...... it goes on.

Haha, i'm not saying you should do it, but the mods you just called would look pretty good! An I love akrapovic exhaust systems, just saying..

Looked at Leo Vince exhausts as my exhaust is actually under the bike and they do one similar but nicer sound. However I can't until November because I'm restricted to 33bhp :(

Streetfighter look would suit that bike 100%. already half way there anyway.

indeed a good job cleening !

haha ! i know you do, haveing a cheeky look on the forum insted of working tut tut :p

Matt your dads bike looks good. Shame suzukis are overrated. also how can he keep it in a place so cluttered id be worried something might fall on it.
