In the past, iv'e done bare minimum when it comes to cleaning cars. Shampoo wash, dry, then autoglym polished.

I have about £100 set a side for cleaning products. Iv'e been looking at dodo jucie products, but there are so many! Then there's different cloths, clays and lubricants...i'm lost and need help xD

What would be a good starter kit? (silver paint and black trim)
Also, what is the cheapest reatailer? (do we have any forum discount codes?)
Thanks in advance guys/gals.

If your sold on trying Dodo Juice, then Monster Detail appears to give good service and prices.

Two buckets, with a grit guard in one of them, combined with a good washmitt would reduce the chances of inflicting dammage whilst washing.

MF drying towels are effective at drying and safer than a leather. There was a thread a few days back with a link to decent ones on e-bay.

Thanks, i'll check it out!

Can anyone rate snow foam? I have a small compressor, would just need the lance and solution.

Tbh a good prewash such as surfex hd through a pump sprayer does the job (IMO even better) I've got 25 litres of foam if someone wants some lol

I have the following Dodo Juice Products

Born to be mild (Shampoo)
Prime lime (Abrasive version) (Polish)
Prime lime (Abrasive free) (Polish)
Purple haze 30ml (Wax)
Supernatural Hybrid 200ml (Paste/Sealant)
Supernatural Wax 200ml (Wax)
Wash mitt (cant remember with one)
Red mist tropical (Detailer)
Marmarlade (Tar remover)
Supernatural finger mitt (applicators)
Clearly menthol cleaner (Glass cleaner)
Crudzilla (Traffic film remover)
Basics Of Bling Wash Pad

Think that everything Dodo Juice i have am im still building as i run out of other products as Dodo Juice products are so good.

Thanks in advance guys/gals.

We offer 5% discount for forum members and our prices are already very competitive. We stock most of the Dodo Juice range and offer free delivery on everything :)

I'll send you a PM shortly with a few product recommendations, based on what you've said. In the meantime, feel free to have a look through our website (www.monsterdetail.co.uk).

Theres no doubting that snow foam is fun, but the £65 could be better used than buying a lance and foam. Even without snow foam, two buckets give a surprisingly good wash.
https://www.twingo133.net/detailing...-bucket-method-here-the-reason-why-t1704.html

Two large buckets (to take a grit guard) from Tescos ~£5
Grit guard for rince bucket ~£10
Wash mitt ~£10

Autosmart Tardis 5 litres~£20
Autosmart Smart wheels 5L ( lifetime suply  ) ~£20
Chemical resistnt spray bottle and head (x2) ~£5 each

Drying towel >here< £7.70
6 Microfiber cloths from the same place ^^ £5.50

That lot will get you a good safe wash, with minimal risk of causing sctatches or swirls whilst being good value for money. Top off with a wax/sealant of your choice

I'd recommend monster, always had great service from Matt. I rate all the dodo products I've got too.

Snow foaming is great fun, but I wouldn't rate is as essential. Does quite a good job though

My usual spread is

Snow foam
Dodo born to be mild shampoo
Dodo fluffy drying towel
Bilberry wheel cleaner
Dodo lime prime polish
Dodo diamond white wax
Dodo red mist protection detailer
Dodo Clearly Menthol

I've got a bunch of buckets, microfibres brushes and spunges, pressure washer etc too
