Dump Valve

Hi all I'm after a dump valve for my GT, not overly fussed what make as long as its not cheap and vents at low revs!

I have looked on some sites but trying my luck here to see if I can get any cheaper

Would it cope with the added boost after my remap though? It looks a seems a little flimsy

Do you just unplug recirc pipe and put a blanking plug in and turn the standard BOV to face upwards?

A wastegate can't be used in this way... Think someone has their terms mixed up. A wastegate is for exhaust gases to bypass the turbine wheel.

A modified recird valve venting to atmosphere could work as a dump valve I guess, though not sure how well it would work :s

Was thinking that was the case, as would hate to see what a waste gate blocked off would do with no external one instead.

Well it blows off air pretty fast (I mean you don't need to rev the engine pretty hard) and personally, I don't like that.

I've got Dazza's dump valve from Ktec and its got the hardest spring in it. Only when you really push it, it blows off air.

Has anyone had any experience with a bailey dv36 venturi?

It's the trumpet style fully atmospheric.

Apparently Bailey dump valves are like the cheap K-Tec ones lol
