Hi all I'm after a dump valve for my GT, not overly fussed what make as long as its not cheap and vents at low revs!

I have looked on some sites but trying my luck here to see if I can get any cheaper

Buy a proper one Waitey you bum! Get the Forge one I have, it looks awesome and sounds even better!

Haha what can I say :D

Link me to yours? I'll try both and let everyone know how different they are.

EDIT: nvm found it.

A wastegate can't be used in this way... Think someone has their terms mixed up. A wastegate is for exhaust gases to bypass the turbine wheel.

A modified recird valve venting to atmosphere could work as a dump valve I guess, though not sure how well it would work :s

I've tried it. By disconnecting the pipe, place a blank plug and let the stock dumpvalve blow off the air.

What was it like?
Well it blows off air pretty fast (I mean you don't need to rev the engine pretty hard) and personally, I don't like that.

I've got Dazza's dump valve from Ktec and its got the hardest spring in it. Only when you really push it, it blows off air.
