1st MOT today, failed on emissions? Still in warranty so its getting fixed regardless, just wondering if anybody has had similar issues? Running rich (too much fuel) Completely standard. As soon as it fixed, its getting sold.

Check coil packs and plugs? Could be water getting to them from a leaky scuttle?

does it get used alot, if they are left stood then they need a bit of a thrashing to warm/clear the exhaust etc.
could have been lots of random things including the mot testing machine needing a new filter

Had them out not too long ago to check for any water damage, was bone dry! It's weird, all the figures will stay in tolerance then the lambda shoots up, almost like there's a fault with an O2 sensor. It gets used everyday and does at least 20 miles, the car was at operating temp when they tested it. My work use them for all our mots, they was doing other cars while i had a quick look at mine and they was all passing! Its also been munching its way through fuel, tank lasts around 230 miles???

230 miles seems normal to me, I average 33 mpg. high 20s if I thrash it. It's a thirsty car.
