Don't think anyone has used an external wastegate on a GT yet and the screamer pipe will sound quite bad on a Twingo tbh...

LOL only suit 400+hp cars.

Not worthit and will get laughed at a lot, it can barely pull off a dump valve, plus isn't an exhaust loud enough?

I doubt the Twingo GT has enough punch to open an external wastegate
There would be no point because you'd need to upgrade the turbo, manifold, buy a wastegate and by being non catalysed exhaust gasses, isn't road legal :p

You'd be better off buying a 250 engine and taking it from there...

Edit - I also hate the sound of screamer pipes. Much prefer rorty exhaust notes..

Not really. It sounds like a terrible exhaust blow until full boost and then it's ridiculously loud. It's not quite so bad on fast cars because with the loud noise comes high performance and they're off but on a 1.2 it will be lots of noise and nothing really happening :s

No, an external wastegate is used for larger boost applications where an internal one won't quite do the job. They are usually a lot more adjustable, precise and larger to let the gases out quicker. A wastegate is used to bypass exhaust gases from hitting the turbine wheel, therefore stopping you blow your engine up with excessive boost.

You're probably thinking of a dump valve which is plumbed in on the compressor side of the turbo before your throttle body. When boost hits a certain level it will open up and vent pressure (when the throttle is snapped shut, ie. between gear changes).
