Ok so we're having an extension done on our house, quite a lot of work converting a bungalow into a house.

So the scaffolding goes up meaning I have to park my car up at the front of the house as the scaffolding was too close to the car :

I cleaned the 'dini, protected and fitted the car before the work started. Not having access to my detailing gear the car was due to sit there for a couple of months until the work was done.

But what's this?? The Mrs has got something out of the boot of her and snagged the cover and put a nice rip in it!!

Not even a bloody week and she's busted a bloody hole in a £125 cover!! What a clumsy bint. :(

She didnt do it on purpose Alex.

But just to be sure she doesnt do it again, sell her car. :D

......and take her off the insurance for yours.

I did turn round to her and say, 'And that's why you don't drive my car!'

Just bloody typical though, there's a bloke in our loft who had a 12ft steel lowered into the roof without a problem. Dim woman gets bag out of car and does more damage!

If it was try i'd get her to sew it up!

When I say a 'bag' caught it, those were her words. Whether she had a folder from work with a point corner I don't know. Not sure I got the full story of 'It was only a folder'.

Credit to her, she's ordered me a replacement and wouldn't take no for an answer lol

No I'll let her off, it's just a bit of a pain in the ar$e really.

It did surprise me that it ripped though as the material is really thick and almost rubberised on the Monsoon covers. Ironic name considering the state of the weather, it's held up to the torrential rain so far.
