F***king stupid Renault wiring

On my way back from an interview and as I have LED sidelights I like to have them on but I looked on my dash and I couldn't see the small light signal under the speedo so I thought nothing of it when I got home I got out of the car walked around it to find out that both O/S sidelight and taillight a d reg resuss lights where out safe to say iwasent a happy bunny so called Arnold Clark to get it booked in for Monday morning but went to my cousins tonight and found a few more problems now my rev counter doesn't light up at all only T/C light and gear change light work but the unit itself nothing then I realised my auto lights do t work now and I'm still getting a Squiel from my clutch witch is most likely my lease baring again and it only got changed when the Renault world series was on as I was there when it was getting fixed my car is only a year old and just done 7500 miles not a happy bunny sorry for the rant guys feel free to leave comments il post up when Renault mechanics attempt to fix it lol

As said I have LED sidelights and in my reg resuss but had them In ther for a year nearly and never had any problems until now so highly doubt its the LED lights or bulbs, with the severity of the problems it can only be down to the wiring

think you've blown a fuse

i had exactly the same problem mate, its the 10 fuse in the very bottom left of the fuse box, it was Rpb that told me about it and it worked a treat.

as for the bearing, mines starting to do it and mines done 40,000 miles, just one of those things, Least its covered under warranty

My bro is in the REMI in the army he checked the fuse for me and it didn't have a problem I'm more annoyed the fact it's a young car that has done very few miles well mr Clark will get a ball booting on Monday anyways lol

sounds like u have popped a fuse in the upc (computer under the bonnet)

altho your dash shouldnt b affected by this!
so you may have lost a feed or connecting wire

Tbh I wait till the genisus at AC sort it FLOL wish me luck I sure will need it the thing is that pisses me off that I'm 20 so I don't qualify for a courtesy car until im 21 so il be left without twingo

How don't you?! I've had courtesy cars before when I was under 21, the only thing you might have to do is have your own insurance cover it...? This should have been offered. This is one of the reasons AC are well known for being poor with customer service. Not an issue for me now of course

Hertz lowered their minimum age to 19 . So if your motor is still in waranty, push for a hire car from AC or Ren customer service
Looks like the age limit is back up again Still push for a courtesy from RUK or AC as their product is not fit for purpose
