Figured Pritch would be the guy to ask, but im sure there will be a few of you who can help too!
Desperate to go on holiday, don't care where, just want it cheap so i can go more than once.
Been looking at last minute deals, and im seeing flights and accomodation for 5 nights in spain dirt cheap....£120! (as long as you wait until the last 48 hours to book.
Worth it for the flight alone, can always get different accomodation there if the provided accomodation is terrible!

I also hear a lot about people who take a week of work, turn up at the airport and wait for cancellations, then fill the place for a very low fee. Is this possible? Can you just hang around an airport waiting for an opportunity? How do you go about it? Do you just get flight or the actual package, flight, travel and hotel? I'll be alone or with 1-2 friends at the most.

Has anybody done this before? This kind of thing really tempts me, very impulsive attitude (kinda how i ended up paying for a 133 before i'd even seen one in the flesh or drove one - just heard about them)

I use on the beach alot had 3 holidays with them. Don't go in the school holidays mate they will rape u big time.

I'm off to rodes in Greece next Wednesday paid £1,600 for 2 kids and 2 adults

No, i'll try to avoid the school hols. I love Rodes! Wish I had that much money spare for a holiday xD Where are you staying? Have not been in years.

Pritchy at your service!

The whole waiting at the airport for a cancellation and you pick it up dirt cheap doesn't really exist anymore im afraid.

I've been looking for holidays recently and lastminute.com is very good and im very tempted by the whole secret hotels deal where you dont actually know where youre booking haha. always worth a go.

There are some fantastic deals out there at the moment,
the easiest option is simply to get a package which includes hotel and flights but sometimes it can work out even cheaper doing it all separately.

It depends where you fancy going and what you fancy doing.

i cant recommend san diego enough i love it and hope to move there and live there in the future, i also adore boston.. ones a city break and the other is a beach/relaxation break.
Thailand is another of my fav places!!!

give me some more details of what you fancy and where you fancy going and ill try and work something out for you... im not doing anything else at the moment haha.

Awesome! I like sandy beaches, hot weather and cheap drink.
I love greece (for the food)
Would like to go to Thailand, simply because i have never considered it.
I'm up for anything really.
As long as it's warm and cheap. Anything to get away from work and the UK for 5 nights or more.
I don't go on holiday to see the sites and be entertianed. I go to drink Gin and Tonics in the sun.

If i go alone, i'd probably stick with sun and sandy beaches, with a budget of £600 for flights and accomodation, but cheaper the better.
If i was to go to thailand it would be with friends.
Hard for me to say what i want really, im not to fussed
Currently browsing onthebeach.com and lastminute.com. Some really good deals!!!
I'd like the opportunity to go on holiday alone, something different. I'm always with friends, they want to go out drinking and party, i want to drink G&T's by the pool. Give me a chance to do my own thing.

edit: My family have always been the type that only visit certain places...cyprus, tennerife and fuerteventura (hope i spelt them right) I don't know any better :p

He wants a cheap holiday though, flights to the states or Thailand, gotta be looking at £600?

I'm looking at flights for 2 people to Thailand at the moment and cant find better than £1300

What about going to see something cultural.

Me and caz are going away in the summer, as it's her first time abroad thought it was best to go somewhere less daunting... Ish

So we're going Prague for a few days and might stop off somewhere like Rome or Venice on the way back (depending on if I can sort the right flights)

That's easily a one person kinda trip

Well, it's sorted.
Going to Belcaire in France. No beaches...not much of anything really...
Ain't sorted flights but got free accommodation which is the main benefit. So all we need is flight and transfers now.
Can't say it's what I wanted, but it's cheap, and friends are going!
