Just Watching top gear and I really fancy one of these...

insurance is cheaper
but yes i agree, the actual car is pretty expensive im shocked :(

Don't sound good from inside like a twingo and certainy doesn't feel focused or like it wants to go round bends like a twingo.

But faster, quieter, much nicer inside and good to look at IMO. I was put off by the understeer personally

Get 1 Rob it would suit u. Get a light Gray 1 with red leather seats

It's the cost that puts me off.
Not sure i can finally do it :/ which is gutting

My boss has the essesse model with a remap and my god it's an improvement over the standard abarth 500. Puts the twingo to shame that's for sure!

With the aftermarket exhaust it sounds very mean too... "Proper growls"

I can't stand the 500 for some reason. Love the pinto abarth but they're even more money and less of them.

I'm not a fan of the looks of the 500. But I'm in love with that steering wheel! I wanna buy one and put a Renault badge in it and stick it in my car

Update:

Spoken to the dealership,

My testdrive is booked for midday on Monday,

I've done insurance quotes on both the 500 abarth and 500 abarth essesse. Both are cheaper than im currently paying
the tax is £50 more than the bmw but im not too fussed about that.

After the test drive i'll sit down and go through everything and maybe look at what else is on the market.

However, it looks like to get the one with all the bits on i would like i may be waiting for some time, as a result of this if i do like the car enough i may enquire regarding a brand new one, we shall see... im in no rush and not rushing into anything

On the plus side, already had some interest in selling the BMW to a dealer i've just alot in the past...

How did you find the way it steered though? That was the point I lost interest. Stiff ride but not really amazing. By no means bad, and it made up for it between the twisties easily, but I just didn't like it
