After months and months of saving and looking for houses I have finally bought my first wee pad :) can't wait to get the keys in March and start decorating!

If she knows what good for her you'll be waiting a long while for that invite.

Awesome. Such a great feeling having your own place. I moved out we i went to uni in 2001, then after that moved straight in with my now wife.

Big congratulations!!! :)

Until you move out, you don't quite realise how nice your own place is. Makes me sound old but sometimes there's nothing nicer than just chilling in your own place.

Welcome to the money pit, sorry property ladder!!

Congrats.

Am looking forward to getting my own pad, but things like hobbies and a wedding are getting in the way of saving a deposit.

Congrats. Can't wait to move out and rent let alone buy a place. Twingo house party maybe???

Congrats! I should stop planning to spend money on my car and actually save up! I'd love a modernised apartment with secure parking personally!

Haha thanks! And if yous are brave enough to cross the border ... just found out my work are sendin me on a flight to germany a few days after i get my keys :-( and I dont know about invitin you Rob after all the stories on here !

I am saving for my own place with the fiancé. But it's gonna take me a long time! Haha

I rented for 6 months, went back living home after I broke up but now I'd rather buy something instead of 'wasting' my money on renting when I move out again.

Yeah I feel like renting is a huge waste and nah, i'm moving in with my boyfriend. Dont think I would have been ready to move to a place myself right now. Just need to get the driveway done so our two cars can park off the road!

My boyfriend luckily has a well paid job otherwise i dont think we would have moved out yet. it does takes while to get to save up but if your determined its easy :) and all worth it in the end!

Congrats Kelly

Holiday this Year then either House or moving Countires comes after that.

Really want to go live in America. as bored and nothing happens here and need a new start.
