After my absolutely dreadful service from renault I've finally got my twingo and I've been motoring here are my thoughts

It took some getting used to the electronic dials the speed does seem to jump up quite a lot especially when your dials are where your speedo used to be I find myself running over the speed limits quite frequently

The ride is somewhat harsh made worse by 17" alloys and low profile tyres around bumpy city roads it can be quite annoying

My car, is stupidly loud at 40mph seems like the wheels are catching and making a loud woooshing noise that goes when you drive slower/faster

The turning circle isn't the best though I am used to. Corsa C it is manageable

The car has developed a rattle in the engine that sounds like metal pieces touching though I'm hoping a service will get rid of it, I have the feeling it may have to go back to renault

Motorway driving is fair it's comfortable at 74mph doesn't feel like it's being worked too hard with the ride being fairly firm it beats most older cars with their bouncy suspension, did 120 miles without feeling fatigued

The turbo is also very nice too, good enough to help you punch it from the lights and take off when you really need too

The car attracts a fair few compliments though it's fairy modest you do get a lot of 1.2 sport corsas and astras trying to race you though

Someone kindly has let their trolley run down the side of the car when I parked it up in a wide space at tesco, so now I have a lovely variety of scratches on the rear, I'm not too angry, just have to deal with it really, though I do wish people would be more careful.

Feel free to drop a reply

that sucks man, our gt has green wheels and the roof and bonnet painted gloss black as well as the front reg cross section and rear bumber painted gloss black as well as all the other trim bits that were silver from standard and the gt wheels are takata green and i haven't had anyone scratch my car or vandalise it infact the worst offender is myself. you should get it back to the dealership and make them fix every little niggle at their expense under your warranty that comes with any used car

Have you had it from new? What model Twingo is it LC?

Its a twingo GT, ill have my trusted local garage give it a check over while they do the service, then take what they've came up with to renault to fix if its not solved by the service.

Put the original 15 inch wheels back on, you'll properly get a better ride quality. It is crap that it's damaged already though.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with Renault, find a good indy mechanic instead.
