Really need to lose a bit of weight and bulk up but I just can't stop myself eating chocolate... It's part of my life lol!

What training regimes do you guys have? I know Karl cycles a lot and may be something I decide to get back into (need a new bike though as I've only got my bmx and a jump bike) but considering running in the mornings (if I wake up in time) or in the evenings.

Diets? Don't have a clue what I should and shouldn't eat really :(

Yeah I like cycling and when I used to do downhilling it was great, always feeling the challenge especially going back up the hills afterwards haha. Something I'll look into.. perhaps get some slightly skinnier tyres on my jump bike and put some gears on it again. We'll see!

Gym over the road from me (pretty much) is less I think... Plus I can get in free as my sister is a life guard there :) I just don't like gyms lol.

I might take up jogging/running again but I didn't notice any improvement last time:(

Hahaha yeah.... I haven't got a car full of rubbish, rather a car full of chocolate bar wrappers! (although these are still rubbish, I'm defining the type of rubbish ;)). For those that don't know... picture your car card pockets. Now picture them overflowing with empty chocolate bar wrappers :)

Dont forget under your seats Matt!!!

if you can do it, gym 5 times a week.
day 1. Shoulders and Arms + abs. super set between the two i.e do one should rep followed by arm with no rest between
day 2. chest and back + legs
day 3. run for at least over 25 mins, thats when body sorts to use fat storage for energy
day 4. same as day one
day 5. same as day two.
rest
rest
repeat.

split 6 exercises are an area between the two days. and once week one is complete. mix around the routine as body adapts.

key thing for building up is food food food. no drinking and eating crap.

eggs is a great start to morning. keep healthy snack like salad of sandwich with brown bread, pasta before workout then fish or red meat straight after workout with yog or smoothie before bed time :D and water water water water

again to lose weight you need to be burning more cals then you take it but should be still eating 4 healthy meals a day, and with bulking up its the other way around and becareful with cardio and lifting, fine balance between the two if done on same day. more then 20mins doing lifts before hand will eat away at muscles your trying to build.

i've manged to keep same weight of 12 stone whilst losing 2 stone yet gaining back in muscle. mens fitness mag is a great help to.
