Hi peeps !
I've got a new stereo and an amp but having a couple of problems fitting it. :?

Firstly, I can't see how to get the 12v live wire from the battery into the cockpit of the car.

Secondly, is there a way to remove the trim that surrounds the length of the stereo going towards the footwell as I need to feed in the RCA leads and the microphone and USB cables?

Getting the wire into the footwell was the biggest ball ache I found as there's no room in the engine bay to feed the wire in.

I actually went from the footwell into the engine bay on my Mrs Twingo, then re-wired a fuse up by the battery instead. There is a big rubber gromit just up to the right of the passenger side footwell which I made a small hole in, then pushed the wire through, then hooked the wire up from where it came into the engine bay.

The other hard job is getting the wiring up to the back of the head unit so I actually ended up running the RCA lead down to the drivers side of the centre console and then along behind it into the passenger footwell too.

Not an easy car to fit an amp it in I must admit. Certainly not compared to other Renaults I've done.

hmmm think I will get me fella to sort it for me then !

Thanks :)
