What are they like? Are they any good?

if you would like to go low "stance" your GT this will be for you cause i have no knowledge of this brand what so ever but it says you can go really low with this

but if you would like to go sporty driving please update to a bilstein kit cause i think it will be better then the FK coilovers but ofcourse quality comes with a price ;)

FK are known to be cheap and only good to go relatively low.

They're basically the cheapest you can get for any car except non branded eBay stuff.

Thanks for the info, but I really cant afford 600 pound on suspension when im on not much more as an apprentice ha. I know you wont get as good quality with them but if im going to spend 350 on coilovers id want to know that they would last. Could anyone point me in the direction of some sporty dampers? as ive seen k tec do some springs fairly cheap.

Do you have a cup twingo?

As spax springs work really well with standard cup shocks, could save up bit by bit then buy a decent set of coilovers, after all a low car will be a pain to drive when the snow starts

I don't think there are any uprated twingo specific shocks though but there's a Clio variant where its suspension can be used on a twingo, can't remember whether its an RS or non RS one, someone on here will know.

182 cup or trophy will share the same 60mm bolt spacing so you can use the same shocks. You will need to make or find a front anti roll bar bracket though

I dont know I thought the cups where just on the RS twingo? All i know is, i have a black twingo and it has a turbo :D
I didnt know that about the 182 cup, ill try get some more info from cliosport.net.

Oh its a GT not RS, tapatalk doesn't show what car you own.

Only way to improve their handling is getting some good coilovers, wonder if the front anti roll bar on an RS is different or if it fits.

Your bolt spacing is 58mm then I think not 100% on that though, seats are worth uprating too as the one in the GT have no support what so ever  RS ones have decent side supports the non dini ones are better, those out a Clio 172 will probably fit too

I was thinking about coilovers but I cant justify the price ha. Think ill search for some dampers to fit the springs. Even if its just the fronts, so im not messing around stripping the struts down when I want to come to sell up.

Ive used fk in the past and really rated them although it was the more expensive fully adjustable silverline X ones they were good but not cheap!

Used AP on my gt as fk were messing venom motorsport about so they upgraded me to them, id re use them no problem

i just read the link you provided twingojoe, you need the bolt spacing of 58mm for the gt if you are using clio coilovers. they are near enough a direct swap, i got new clio top mounts and used them instead of the gt ones. also had to cut the rear rubber spring perches to accomodate the much smaller spring bottoms

If they fit the 1.2 16v they'll fit the GT. Best email them though. As oscar said they need a 58mm bolt spacing and all twingo's apart of the RS have the 58mm bolt spacing (I believe)

Just rang them and no help at all. Useless pr*ck didnt know what he was on about. Such a good price...
