Picked the Silverstone up last Friday, what a cracking car. One thing i'm finding annoying is the flat spot as you pull away, i find myself dipping the clutch and giving it more revs, is this normal? I will get tk K_Tec and get it mapped if this would help. anyone else had the remap and does it help response pulling away?
cheers.

Yep deffo flat spot, I got caught out with it trying to pull away sharpish off some lights up a slight hill  everyone looked, lots of noise but didn't seem to go anywhere then suddenly shot off, but no wheel spin

I'm waiting on getting a remap until after I make man maths apply to a few mods

It will certainly help, dazza mentioned that spot specifically after his was remapped

A fair few members have complained about a flat spot which has then gone after a remap. I know for sure my rs has a flat spot just need to save for the remap.

As maggz said I had mine remapped and the flat spot has gone. It's just got power there now

That's a trip to ktec then, just need a few miles on before I book a remap.
Thanks for the replies.

Dazza got his done at mulgari and I know a few have been to rs tuning. Not sure I've read a review of a ktec map yet

i'll look Mulgari up, RS Tuning are fantastic, had my RS250 done there, but it's a long way in a Twingo! (i'm near Brands Hatch) KTec are about 1hr 20mins from me. There is a bit of info on their website about their remaps for the 133, i was hoping someone on here had already had it done by them.

where r you based? we had a meet there a month ago, there is a few of us that live near by.

Mulgari is surrey so not a long drive but as far as I know you need to leave the car there as the map isn't done there but they send the ecu off?

Maggz is right u have to leave the car there a couple of day. The open the ecu up and put the map in that way

I think i'll give ktec a go and have an oil change while i'm there. will let you all know once it's been done.
