Sorry to sound noobish but..

HOW are tow straps fitted? I've heard cases of them being welded on some cars, and others just riveted? Surely riveting them on wont be strong enough for it to actually be of any use?!?!?

ALSO are there any flutter valves that suit the GT? Not keen on the dump valve noise and prefer something abit different from the norm ;).

'Flutter' is the noise made by a dump valve with too strong a spring in ;)

you can use a boost controller inline with the vacum coming off the top of the recirc/bov, to adjust the pressure to create the flutter, i wouldnt recommend it, that flutter noise is the air going back and hitting the turbo fins

Towstraps: Bolted onto the Twingo.
Take the front bumper off and mount the plate in the OE position. Some drilling, filing and cutting might be needed!

Thanks for the info on that prab, also did some research on it and seems it pretty much doesn't help at all but can damage the turbo!! Back to more research on something a bit different to the usual dumping noise as every Scooby and fabia vrs in my area pretty much all sound the same!

Matt thanks for that should've asked you first or checked your thread as I knew you had one, sounds straight forward enough to do one day.

No worries mate :)
If you go for the OMP Tow Straps, they're a bit more flexible than the TRS ones.

I used the standard mounting hole on my TRS Strap and mounted it a little bit low so I had to cut out some of the rear plastic forming behind the bumper.

The TRS Strap has an overlap of about 3 plys near the plate and it has a helluva lot of stitching in it, so it's quite rigid near the mounting point.
