once a week for a couple of months now, my engine light and spanner light comes on, i usually just switch the ignition off & on and lights go out, is this a renault gremlin? ie french electrics, only non toyota car ive owned.

Plug a generic fault reader in and see if anything comes up an intermittent fault is a fault the same so needs to be investigated
