My front bumper is slightly misaligned at the wheelarch, and I was going to have a crack at refitting it myself. One of the clips/lugs holding it into place was snapped (according to the dealer) and I've just noticed this afternoon that the small part directly below the foglight is also missing two clips/screws and is loose.

Dealers attitude a couple of weeks ago re the wheelarch was that 'it had been tightened' but its still out of alignment. I'm going to take the car into a bodyshop, as I think I'll have more success than Renault.

I've only had a car into a bodyshop once before and that was for some custom spray work on my last car. Anybody know from experience if a decent bodyshop is likely to have a stack of clips already for bumpers or will Twingo clips need to be specifically ordered in?

Come to think of it does anyone know

a) where to get a new rs bumper

b) how much they cost?

Just had a proper good luck on the underside of my car.

The bumper extension panel ie that underneath the foglight is cracked and missing both pop rivets, held in place by one screw.

The panel next to that and joining the bumper to the wheelarch is cracked at the base and missing a pop rivet. The long piece of flexible grey plastic running the length of the underside of the bumper (front spoiler???) is hanging off slightly.

On top of that the wheelarch lining is cracked too!

I don't know what on earth has gone on with this car, but I'm sad to say that I'm thinking about getting rid now.

After being very very close to getting rid a couple of weeks ago (to putting a deposit down on a Honda civic) I persevered and got a couple of panels replaced on the bumper that were cracked.

And then a couple of days ago a foglight surround popped out of place with a snapped lug. What luck!
