Ok so this is my first problem with the Twingo, It's a standard 133 cup. The noise has me and a few friends baffled but we're only novices... The noise occurs when I turn right going over about 10mph, the best i can describe the noise is a pisst pisst pisst, the noise gets quicker the faster i go. I haven't taken the wheel off but I've got undernear the car and all the rubbery bits seem fine, not perished, or greasy. the shock and spring seems fine too. It doesn't look like it's a piece of trim inside the wheel arch either.. Also the handling seems normal, no vibrations through the wheel or anything, I only noticed the noise in the past few days because of having the windows down, I wouldn't have noticed otherwise, It's not very loud.
One last thing, it had its MOT back in may, they replaced the offside front track rod end ball, and the front discs and pads, they didn't say anything else needed work.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Wheel bearing?
Could be brakes sticking but if they were changed in may can't see it being them

I'll book it in the garage as soon as i can, just wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem.
Any idea how much a wheel bearing would be?
The car is 5 years old now and it's the first thing that's gone wrong, so I can't complain.

I believe I've narrowed it down to the alloy or the tyre, I swapped the back left for the front left and the noise has disappeared :) Just a new tyre would be much easier.

Stone stuck in the tread, or a screw /nail somewhere :?

Hopefully it's a stone then :)
would I be ok to keep the back alloy on the front? They seem to have slightly different balancing weights on them

The weights may be different shape or sizes, but that wouldn't matter. They are only there to make the wheel and tyre equaly balanced which prevents the wheel wobbling as it rotates.
