Just had 2 of the techys at work tell me a Twingo GT is quicker then a 133

One knows not alot about performance cars except he has a 1.6 Clio 2 with a really bad forced induction that will suck in heat as it has no cold air feed (Oh and to add its faster then a 133 aswel :s )

The other who was telling me that i know nothing about Renaultsports. Thats made me confused.com seeing i proberly have the most knowledge in the dealer about them

Hah, a remapped/modded GT probably is quicker ;)

We was talking standard

Depends whats done. My old GT was running 123 BHP with exhaust, panel filter and a remap. My RS is the same and running 138 BHP. Cant remember the torque fingers.

But i know my RS was and is still quicker then my GT was and also better on fuel. Once the GT was mapped the turbo use to suck loads of fuel.

I think Yotah has proven its more to do with the size of your testicles than the bhp you're running when it comes To a twingo. Are you really that bothered Karl? You cycle to work for gods sake!

I know they started saying your 24 you should have a mans car they then got a reply of what so its another car i dont use

I was tempted to reply whats the car i bring to work when i dont cycle but couldnt be arsed as they started to bore me

I just had the one that knows jack asking me the difference in a GT and RS and very quickly told him hes boring me and to go back in the workshop where he belongs out the way in a corner

 I spoke to Renault Watford today and the parts bloke who's on today (not the usual) wasn't aware of an rs twingo at all  so least the blokes you're working with are a step in the right direction!

Thats a good start ar Renault Watford.

Dont get me wrong the guys know there way around a Renault but thats about all

Yeah he kept telling me there's only one spoiler for a gt and its only anthracite and they don't make any other. Nothing else at all. There isn't a Renaultsport twingo and as far as he knew never had been. I did end the conversation quite quickly and ask Andrew to call me back when he's in

This argument rages on all the time. Used to get really quite heated on TOC

One thing some GT owners (no offence to any on here) seem to forget is it's not all about peak figures, sure you can lob money at a GT and it may have a RS off the blocks and in a straight line, however as soon as to throw a couple of corners into the mix it becomes a different matter. The RS is setup for that, the GT is by no means a bad handling car, but the RS is a different beast. If you go into major handling mods on a GT, widening the track etc, then it's a big spend.

The 133 can beat cars it really shouldn't be able to, especially in the hands of the right person, I'm sure yotah panned a few big boys toys even when his car was standard.

Its all about balance and In reality neither are particularly quick from a standstill. Show the RS a B road and smile!!!!!

The 1.6 Clio 2 owner isn't from cliosport is he?

However the 133 and GT have nothing on the i-music ;)
Was expecting you. The gt has the same problem as these "awesome" I-music. Show them a corner and they meet a hedge.
