Anyone ever been?

Looking at staying along the coast in August. Other than a recommendation briefly by someone, and then looking at hotel prices... I'm tempted. Will admit I've done little (read no) research

Because of one spider, the whole of Africa is out of bounds?

Want/Need to go in the future, been to North Africa but only because a mates dad has a small plane and we went one day, got arrested as we wern't allowed to land there :(

The only place I would be wanting to go in ANY of the African Continent at the moment in Cape Town....

Always wanted to go on a cruise to Somalia though

Well further investigation suggests it'll be wet. And very humid. Hmmm

Next idea! DOn't want to do anything too expensive at all, but don't wanna do a benidorm, deffo a more cultural kinda holiday person, even though we want to do a more beach orientated holiday just somewhere a bit different

 yeah that's the kinda holiday were gonna avoid :p I like adventures and seeing stuff. Carrie enjoyed Prague last time but I wanna do something else

You could go somewhere like Barcelona. Plenty of cultural and cool things to go and see if you fancy it at any point, but also a pretty nice beach to relax on

Maggi, how about the south of France?

went there a long time ago to a place called Chinon in a cottage with a river running a stone throw away and its own vinyard thingy.

Not sure on prices as i say i was about 12 at the time :D but i fondly remember that place and it was a really nice break

Looked at Rhodes actually. Where did you go and was it £££?

we went to ialyssos ixia rhodes, i think is the full area :) its about 10-15 mins bus ride away from Old Rhodes Town and only cost 6 euro return on the local bus. think it cost 540per person all inclusive with flights for a week :) ialyssos is the quiet side though, hardly any brits so no nightclubs or anything. if you want that stay in Faliraki :) I wanna go back though, would highly recommend it mate.

Yeah quiet is good. Very good. We don't do clubbing  but of course a cocktail bar or two so I can take advantage of the lady wouldn't go amiss

So Rhodes is hideously expensive for what it is, and when we want. In fact Greece seems to be more expensive full stop.

So were going Tunisia for a week. Will be hot enough that I burn badly and cheap enough I don't moan about how much it's cost :p
