There seems to be a large gap between my boot and the rest of my car which I have noticed and it really stands out now. Is this normal for the twingo? here is a few pics but it doesn't stand out so much in a picture. The gap also seems to be bigger on the left half.

There is a fairly large gap on mine (pre-facelift) but that doesn't look right at the bottom.

Is the gap the same towards the top as it is towards the bottom?

No noise coming from it, just the wierd gap :? Doesnt leak water either.

The gap seems to be widest at the bottom left and the smallest at the bottom right. It's slightly smaller at the top on the left side when compared to the bottom left but slightly bigger on the top right compared to bottom right.

That sounds like the hinges need to be aligned better :(

When your clossing it, do both of the rubber stoppers touch the sidez of the boot apature at the same time?

I just had a little look and though I can't tell for sure, it looks as though the left side doesnt even touch. The right stopper on the boot lid is also really wobbly and has lots of play whereas the left one is stiff.

there's not much point adjusting the striker if the hinges aren't properly aligned, as that would only twist the boot and stress the hinges, latch and boot frame

Ok well I have contacted the dealer I got it from to see what they say

Boot lid is fixed on with a couple of nuts up top that you'll see covered with caps when you open the boot, might just need tightening. Though not sure that should leave a gap when shut
