have a question. want to change the OEM gear knob, but in my country they dont sell that set with orange stiching from 4months, was thinking of buying the gear knob from clio rs(BUT THIS IS ONLY A BALL, WITHOUT LEATHER) so the question is can I just remove the OEM gear knob handle and plug and play the steel one from clio.?

Don't think you can, would it be easier to try and order one from Karl if he can post abroad?

Should be fairly easy as the stock leather is fixed on the knob with some rubber keeping it in place and you just pull it off when you want it removed, it's the same the orange RS one. Need to double check though.

exactly this is the main thing, so your saying that this sort of leather material with OEM gear knob isnt together for good and you could separate them. then just put new ball on top.

That's it! I'm not sure about the stock one you have, best thing would be for you to check it, otherwise it should be plug & play as the leather isn't fixed (not on the top side, bottom is pretty much glued on the plastic). You need to check the one you have, otherwise those knobs should fit just fine. Ask at the dealer have a look at other models as well, did "burn" myself by jumping to conclusions ;)

Neither in Greece!

About the knob you can buy it from ebay (or from karl if he can post aboard)
From ebay I bought the handbrake cover ( if you have an eye you will find and the gear knob)

I don't think the knob from a Clio or Megane will fit because of the pull-up meganism to get into reverse. I'm not sure though! :?
