... But dont worry, its the family bus 2007 megane estate 2L petrol is going.

Managed to get a awesome deal on a Nissan QashQai + 2, 1.5dci (same as in the cilo's) N-Tec spec. 61 plate with only 800 miles on the clock (ex demo).
Got all the toys, reverse cam, built in satnav, blueteeth, auto wipers / lights, panoramic roof, duel climate etc etc. Only missing options were leather and keyless entry.

Will post up when we have it.... I wont be becoming a member of the QashQai owner club so will rant about it on here.

I will admit based on the trade in I was initially offered, I did consider trading in the RS and keeping the megane estate for myself. Until I went for a bit of a drive. The RS is here for the long term.

I loved it when I had one had one as courtesy car :) wasn't the +2 but had all the bits yours has. An that reverse cam is rather handy

I'd have one any day.....

good to hear. Which engine was it. The wife thinks the 1.5dci was fine, I found it a little slow, still pulled well.

Got to be one of the best value family cars out there

I'd have one, even if it is just because the steering wheel looks a little like a gtr's

I had the 1.5d it wasnt the quickest but pulled well into three figures and could cruise at that day in day out

Country roads it was agile and smooth, round mk with roundabouts pulled well up to 70, good all around package an looks tuff

800 miles is rather low, and the engine hasn't completely run in, diesels tend to gain power as milage goes up. I've had Kangoo 1.5 dCi 82@105BHP and it was doing 0-100kmh in around 10,5 second, pretty fast for a van ;]. I've done 215000km without a single fault in engine, so it very good little diesel.
You just have to remember basics of driving a car with turbo (warming up, cooling down etc).

I may suggest visiting www.cliodci.net (now renault dCi).

Chiptune it to ~130bhp and it will be driveable ;)

Owned a couple of dervs before a 1.9 flat diseasel in a mk1 cilo, two 1.9dci fat arsed megs (more mapped to 180bhp/300ish lbs) Do like the black stuff. Would of loved if they had done the 106bhp dci in the twingo, would go like stink after a quick map.

Don't think we will map this until after the warrantee is gone

But then you only get a fraction of the benefits of the increased MPG and missing out on months of potential extra power.

Well, chiptuning is transparent for service (unless they'll go to dyno, which is never gonna happen ;)) so I wouldn't be worried here. You can always get a box, which is worse opion, but you can always take it out of car and nobody would notice that it has been there :)

There was 1.5 dCi in Twingo, 80HP version AFAIR, this can be modded to 100HP with only chiptuning, and by giving it FMIC and probably bigger turbo it should go to 130 BHP.
I wish there was 1.6 dCi 2.0 F4R in Twingo ;]
