... Any tips on the options you would advise I get? Or any information in general?

At the moment I am thinking of going for the Twingo RS133 with the Cup Option

But should I be looking at adding any other options, I don't want to go too mad with the price however.

Thanks guys

Very true, but are there any options that you would recommend someone get in your experience. I was thinking about the RS Monitor as i know this has to be fitted from new but then I wonder if it's worth the extra price for use on a couple of track days per year.

Also I was thinking of the better audio system but wondered if there is any real noticeable improvement.

If you're not into replacing ICE then I think the upgrade is worthwhile. I have it in my Gordini as standard and it sounds a lot better than the stock one in my Mrs 133. Then again if you're happy swapping the front speakers out and putting in a new head unit then don't bother with it. :)

My Mrs was insistent on having the panoramic roof and I must say it is wicked. Makes the cabin feel far more spacious and is great on a sunny day but an expensive option.

It's all personal preference really mate just wanna make sure it's got the Cup pack so you get the 17" rims. :)

I'd never spend money on upgrading audio in a car. :(

Whatever you put in still has to work in something with the acoustics of a biscuit tin lined with sticky-backed plastic. And it's got to compete for attention with a revving engine, rumbling tyres, cans of beans and pairs of shoes rolling about in the boot and the clattering bus you're wiating at the lights next to, so basically it's a losing battle

No worries there, that's and option I will not buy without :D

Oh God it's terrible! With a standard 133 it's almost as bad as my half stripped Clio.. and now I have half of the Twingo interior out it's even worse! All you can hear is road noise and the engine but ah well, you get used to it! For that reason it's probably a good idea to upgrade the audio - then you can actually hear your music ;)

There really aren't that many options available for the Twingo so it's mostly down to taste and essentials.

The main different being air con and pana sunroof. Both of these are very nice luxuries but if you don't want them, get yourself a Cup model. Speccing the car to have the Cup chassis is more expensive as it includes extras over simply getting the actual Cup model (not sure how much you know about the Cup).

In short;
Cup = Stiffer/firmer/lower suspension, different wheels,
Cup model = cheaper, less fancy things (no air con, rear sliding seats, tints, auto lights/wipers etc)
Cup option = more luxury, more £££.

Sorry if it's not very clear I'm trying to be quick :)

What do you drive round in a skip?

Thing is though there are times when you need a bit of ICE in the car. Admittedly the 900-1000W rms ICE in my Megane is probably somewhat overkill but I'm really impressed with the standard Gordini set up.

I get very frustrated in my Mrs 133 as the standard speakers simply aren't loud enough to overcome the issues you mention where as the upgraded audio does all be it, it's not booming.
