Hello all.

I rather rudely have been a long time lurker on here and posted an ad for sale with my twingo without introducing myself.

I am Andy , from Doncaster ( but dont hold that against me )

I was initially after a f1 230 megane , but money was tight so I opted for a twingo 133 that someone was selling locally to me.

I have another passion in cars - french 80s turbos.

I have owned

1 * 21 turbo with extensive mods
1 * mint standard phase 1 5 GT Turbo
1 * extensively modified 5 GT Turbo

I work on all my old cars myself , love them. Half the fun is fixing them once they have broken down.

I bought the car looking like this ( AJ tuning bodykit BTW )

Standard bumper and rear spoiler added.

5 currently has
Double capacity intercooler
Samco hoses
Aftermarket RAMAir filter
Gt Tuning water hardpipe
t25 turbo
Lots of boost
Larger elbow
Larger ( 2.5 inch ) downpipe
Side exit exhaust ( scorpion )
209d renix
Modded timing
Balanced bottom end
Spax suspension
Clio Williams Alloys
Rover 620 seats
Wallet sapping breakdowns
Wife who doesnt like it
Alarm with a mind of its own

That is all ! :)

I need to retire my five from a working vehicle ( did 8000 mi in it last year ) and sell the Twingo to get a denzil mile muncher. I also owe the wife another car as well.

Bit gutted really , but I have started my own IT business ( Giraffeit.com since you asked ) and I really need the mile muncher. Its not a good look turning up to meetings in a lowered , stiffened 80s car and shaking partly from the adrenaline and partly from the thanks that you got there....

An 80's car shows commitment to a project, or, you needing to be commited to an assylum

Either way, welcome ;)

Welcome. You having any luck with the sale as yet?

Any further future plans for the 5 left?
