Just a quick question.
Are the rear seats in the Gordini real leather or vinyl?

the pattern on them seems to be a lot different to the front seats.

I have some leather cleaner coming this week and dont want to use it on the back ones if theyre not leather or the cleaner is not compatible.

Not too sure to be honest mate. All I know is I use the leather cleaner on the rears too and I've personally had no issues.

Might be worth doing a sample patch on the side if you can, then if it does do something funny you won't be able to notice it

Your cleaner will have instructions to test a patch first and leave it. Do that then you'll know if you can or not

I'll do as planned then, a small area and see how we go.

Just another though jra3d, what are the bungee straps fixed under the seats for???
Just keeping the seat cover on tight?

My passenger one is not fitted correctly, and its trapped under the seat frame, the frames been bolted down when the cable was in the wrong position, so I've got to remove the seat today.

And what is this anti submarining thingy?

The bungee is for when you lift the rear seats forward to give you more floor space, use them too hook around driver seat head rest poles

You may not have to remove the seat fella. Just fold it up and it should come out from under the slider rail.

Slide the seat forwards. From within the boot, you will see two red handles.. Lift these and the seat runners will unlatch fron the floor, allowing the seat to be tilted forwards and probably freeing your bungee. If the seat back was folded forwards first, then you could get a huge boot area.

Ahh, I've just logged back in and what you guys explained is exactly as I found out earlier from the manual.
The bungee cable came free once I lifted the seats up.

Cheers fellas.

I can fit a full issue of EVO in the boot.

When I fold the rear seats back lol

I just used the Dr Leather on the back seats - no problems at all.

Must admit for anyone wanting to try a leather cleaner that doesnt make your seats greasy or shine it is a very good product to use.

All the interior is really nice factory fresh matte now.

Door cards cleaned with Meguiars All-Purpose-Cleaner, then protected with 303 Aerospace UV protectant (satin) and the seats with Dr Leather.
