Green cars to pay London congestion charge

In the next 2 years the greenies that thought they could drive toyota prius and others will have to start paying.

I always thought it was a tax rather than a "green" incentive.

Well it's a 'congestion' charge. So it should be on the basis of how much congestion it causes, not how much pap comes out the back.

However, this is probably the start for road fund licences to increase on smaller cars, as everyone is apparently downgrading. Which I would find more newsworthy personally.

Good, Prius' do more harm in their manufacture alone than most normal cars in their normal lifetime usage
