I have no idea what it is...

I spend most mornings in the shower reading the back of any new bottles and potions that the Mrs puts in there... Still have no idea what it actually is for.

Enlighten me

According to wikipedia, it's a product that alters the texture and appearance of hair

Depends, if you've got long hair it's something you need to know about. I know a startling amount about hair stuff due to my mum being a hairdresser and having long hair myself.

Using conditioner does help keep your hair more healthy, due to it helping your hair a bit more healthy and the surface more smooth, it helps to stop your hair tangling etc.

Also due to it making the surface better, it makes it much more difficult to catch nits (good tip if you work with/have kids)

I believe it doesnt matter on the length of your hair really. Depending what type of conditioner you use depends what job it will do. Like at the moment I'm using one that basically puts moisture back into your hair prevents split ends etc. as I use hair straightners daily it takes alot of moisture out of the hair.

But I'm no hairdresser, its just something I have always used.

True, conditioner will do the same job no matter what hair length you have, but guys often tend to get by without (separate) conditioner with short hair ok - as they don't tend to do styling etc treatments that damage the hair.

So for a man that Only has hair because he isn't yet bald. I really don't need it

It'll do your hair good to use it (and I'd suggest you do periodically), but you can probably get by with just with a dual shampoo/conditioner or just a good shampoo

No bob you don't really need it. lol although if you would like softer/silkier hair you could use it too! just putting some on after shampooing for five mins or so will do the trick ;)

If I'm being honest here, I like the aussie miracle stuff..

-6 manly points for you....

Hangs head in shame.

In all fairness, my last long term relationship my girlfriend was a hairdresser and alwayshad a go at me, I have OCD and shower twice a day usually and wash my hair every timeI step in, which means my hair would otherwise be a lot more horrid than it is

I use it :)
