What headlight bulbs do you guys use ? I used to have HID's fitted in my Morette headlights on my 180 for the nice looking colour.. but I'm tempted with a pair of these https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H4-OSRAM-Cool-Blue-Hyper-5000K-62193CBH.html

Has anyone seen these or used them themselves? Just wondering if they're actually a similar colour to HID's like stated as most bulbs aren't..

They won't be. But I've used them in my last car and they were very good

I've taken the jump and ordered a set, I'll take a picture when they arrive, had to buy some matching side light and numberplate bulbs too lol

They only add that so they avoid all the costs associated with e marking the products I believe?

those HID's or xenon or philips blue effect bulbs they give more light yes they do and more white ish light but they cannot be compared to 6K kelvin HID's big difference
got these

So they looked Blueish then? Just weren't that bright?
if you look inside the headlight its a bit blueish but it doesnt give a HID or Xenon light effect its just very bright white light i do prefer these over the OEM bulbs

cheap upgrade your choice

I popped those 5000k Osram bulbs in last night with some white LED Side light and numberplate bulbs.. looks much better. Bright white which is fine by me, looks better than yellow :)

I have Osram Cool Blue Intense for few days, and they are much whiter than OEM. Another good thing is that they are still road legal, opposed to HID kits.
Don't know how long would they last, in Kangoo I've had Osram nightbreakers, they really did they job breaking night, but also after 2 or 3 months they broke themselves ;], I gave Osram one more chance in Twingo.
Philips GT150 lasted muuuuch longer and they were very good too, so if Osram will fail in short time, I'll go Philips.
And one important thing, we have to drive with lights on 24h/day, so since Twingo hasn't got daylight running lights (that's how they're called?), main bulbs are wearing faster.

I was gonna buy Philips H4 lights, but wanted to get some LED sidelights first. When I bought LED sidelights the quality wasn't as good as expected (they kept blinking), so does anyone know whether there are any quality LED sidelight bulbs to buy (preferably from a well know brand - I remember Philips in fact had some 501 led bulbs, but it seems they don't sell them anymore)? What I'm trying to say is, you can get cheaper H4 bulbs, but I'd prefer to buy Philips H4 lights, because they are of better quality. Is there any equivalent when it comes LED lights?
