I got some ibeats with my new htc phone, don't get me wrong they are decent but I don't think they are a massive improvement over my sennheisser cx300's

Rob.

Sennheiser headphones are pretty decent for what u pay for them. The skull kandi headphones from hmv are really good too. If u really don't have a budget then u want a pair of monster or beats. Can't go wrong

I got some sennheiser earbuds CX300 very happy with them they where 50 euro's and still sound very lively after 3 years but if you got a bigger budget you can go for much better ones

Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Closed Back - Best headphones ive had , as there closed cup you get amazing bass with these but also this doesn't mean the sound quality is crap because it aint they are awesome should be able to get a set for about £140.

They are definatly better then the Bose and Dr beats, you just pay for the name.

Sorry guys,

i'm after in ear buds as i dont want headphones as dont wanna ruin my hair.

My in ears are Grado GR10 Earphones , these are expensive but you get what you pay for and are imo the best you can get for crisp sound, awesome bass.

I'm not a fan of the beats, don't like the sound balance or quality for how much they cost.

I've got a set of sennheisers as a comparatively cheap set to use while out and about (snowboarding, running etc) which are great for their range. Though for when I want sound quality I switch to my expensive over ear cans, so can't really help you there other than to say try alternatives to beats, as IMO there's much better around for the money.

Beat are the worst in ear head phones ive heard , the sound quality is crap so overated because Dr Dre has his name on them and the price for something so inferior...

+1 will admit I have never owned a pair but after test a couple they aren't anything special.

Bought some dennon inears, c360 , something like that for my one to use walking back from the pub, not too expensive as I will end up losing them, only paid > £20 for them and they are surprisingly good.

I'm a fan of Sennheiser in ear ones. The Beats once are meant to be good but I can't help thinking there's possibly style over some substance.

Flac FTW. Have lots of music in .flac and it sounds great through my hefty sound systems etc :D

I break my earphones on a weekely occurance at work (they get wrapped around my armrest and when I push away from the desk they rip from the socket and normally break somewhere). For this reason I buy cheaper earphones and recently got some Skull Candy ones from HMV... They are sh*t! Sound quality is terrible but they look good lol.

Best ones I've had for a while are Ultimate Ears (now owned by Logitech I believe). They do cheaper earphones (which are excellent) and also custom moulded ones for pros and everythign inbetween. Recommended :)
