As I haven't found it anywhere in the web, I would like to create a list of Renault's OEM headunits and displays.
This would allow us to see what upgrades are possible if we want better sound quality or functionality and preserve the OEM look :)

So I suggest taking photos of:
1. Headunit front
2. Headunit back (with connectors)
3. display
4. under steering wheel remote

and post them here :)

1.

2. WARNING! Disconnecting head unit might require inputing PIN code to radio (provided by Renault Service). In my case there wasn't such a need (for my luck, beacuse I thought about it after disconnecting my unit  ) - after reconnecting everything worked fine. It was disconnected for about 30 seconds, tho.

forgot to take this one ;P

What You think about it?
Or maybe somebody knows where this kind of list might be?

i was some time ago at service .. wanted to update same radio with same display as you have to that "graphich" display .. and they on service didnt know if that's possible because of the connectors ...

but i managed to get renault codes for that display ..

does anybody know if is possible to connect graphic display to this normal non-bluetooth radio unit?

they writed 2 codes so if anybody can check :
- graphic display: 280345732R (150€) , ((and another code -I think normal display 280346262R))
- bluetooth radio: 281151461R (325€) , ((normal non bluetooth radio- 281150031R))
- command stick behind steereng wheel for bluetooth radio: 8200950420 and one cod more 7701072109 (15€)
,((normal non bluetooth radio stick commands 8200009040))

Display and unit are usually paired so I would say that non-bt unit and dot matrix display won't work together.
But on the other hand, as You can see on my display, that there is phone icon, so this display should work with BT head unit.
This cannot be verified unless someone actually try to swap units or displays, and this is where this list would come in handy :)

Unfortunatelly I don't know any other user of RS133 with whom I could try swapping units...

Little update.
I've just bought upgraded HU (described as removed from Megane 3 with GPS) only to find out it won't qork with my car / LCD display.
Connector is the same, plug and play, but when I've turned it on LCD turned on too (yay!), but it showed nothing, but outside temperature (boo...). No sound either... I wonder if this is because of display (and stalk controller maybe), or maybe you need to program it into car's comfort computer (or however it is called) or radio is dead.
This is the unit I've bought (it was a bargain):

Oh, right... as it states in Radiosat classic manual (my OEM radio):

"Protection against theft
Your car audio system is electronically protected to ensure that it only functions in your vehicle.
If fitting to another vehicle, consult a representative from the manufacturer."

Yeah, right.

Sooo... it might work with my display AND default radio might work with dot matrix display.
Now I have to find some way to persuade my car to cooperate with my new HU...

your cars stereo is "married" to your cars screen display. if you have bought a new headunit then it needs to be divorced from the old car and married up to yours. this is usually done by a code that is unique to your car or headunit but you'd need the code from the old car as well. this is how it's done on vauxhalls / opels anyway

Sadly - no. I haven't dug into this since last post actually since I don't have CLIP interface or software. Yet.
