Jump in the car this morning and the fan does not work on speed 1, 2 and three. fine on 4 though. any ideas? booked my car in next Saturday at the dealers as the car is still under warranty. any ideas though to save myself a trip?

cheers luke

Could be the heater resistor that tells the fan what speed to go. Common fault on the scenics

it's a variable resistor so you'd need to have a multi meter and check its resistance and voltage on all settings and compare it with what it should be. happened to me but i had to replace the relay, no biggie!

will be the resistor pack, common fault, about £60 but will be covered under warranty in your case, scuttle pannel leaks and it gets wet and fails if its in the same place as a mk2 clio
