Hi, my name's Drew, I live in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear and I've just put a deposit down on a 58 plate GT!
As for now, I drive a Ford StreetKa which I know isn't to everyones' taste, infact, very fews, but it was a convinience purchase when my old C2 GT was abruptly written off and I needed a cheap and cheerful alternative for the commute to work.
I purchased the StreetKa when it was completely standard with just over 24k clocked, however, I've since made a number of modifications to it. In no particular order, it has had a wind deflector, smoked headlights and smoked side repeaters fitted.
It's been lowered 30mm on Eibach springs, spaced at the back by 15mm on Eibach pro spacers, has been re-badged thanks to DMB, has had a Cupra R splitter, aftermarket spoiler and fitted and last, but by no means least, the alloys have been resprayed gloss black.
Unfortunately the StreetKa is thirsty and undoubtedly one of the most awkward cars I've worked on, so I decided to opt for something that was more wallet-friendly with a bit more kick, thus the GT purchase. It also has a similar feel to it as my C2 did before a Prius driver took exception to it;
I'm keeping the Streetka, but it's being SORN so the other half can use it when her Fiesta, my first car, eventually succumbs to the inevitable rust issue they have;
Anyway, I looking forward to working on the Twingo and contributing to the forum! Thanks for having me.
