Hi Guys, been lurking reading on the forum for a while. Pretty much decided I'm going to try and pick up a used 133, just wanted to know if there was anything i should look out for? Any common issues etc

Cheers!

U will love the Twingo RS!

Lower ball joints are an issue on some.
And a few other minor issues that the more technically minded people of the forum I'm sure will let u know about!

I'm thinking about selling my Twingo RS Silverstone no.07/50 if the right price comes up.

I'm in the process of creating an advert. I will post it soon.

Some examples have been known to have scuttle panels which leak, destroying the coil pack as a result. Renault have apparently been good at getting this seen to FOC though, even for ones without warranty.

Make sure you're comfortable in the car too - I'm 6'2" and whilst there's plenty headroom etc, the driver's seat could do with being able to go further back a couple of clicks. The hugging sports seats are quite narrow too, but I don't have a problem with them at the moment (I must still be thin enough to fit in them, and I'm of average body size)

Keep an eye on alloys too - those slightly stretched 195 tyres do nothing to protect the rims of the wheels!

We must have different preferences then funky I'm 6'2" and I've got loads of clicks left maybe I just like sitting close to the wheel :)
