Figured I'd make an introductory thread as i've been lurking for a while.
I've been a long time renault sport owner - past 5 years. Started off with a clio 172 in flame red, which i ended up spending a fortune on having repaired, however this didn't deter me from having another, so I then bought an albi blue 197, which I spent a bit on in terms of mods - kw coilovers, yozza exhaust, filter, braided lines, pads n discs etc.
In the end it cost me a fortune to run though, and the mileage was starting to creep up quite a bit so I traded it in for a seat ibiza, foolishly thinking I'd grown up and would rather having something cheap to run. How wrong was I!
Then three months ago I suggested to my sister we pay a visit to Renault to have a look at a twingo 133 for her, coming from a citroen c1, I figured this would be an ideal step up for her. Went to Renault Wolverhampton - who were brilliant. Happily let us take out a gordini 133 by ourselves for 45 mins and we were both hooked. One had to be bought. It just so happened Renault still had 3 silverstones left at this point. So she's the proud owner of number 25.
On receiving it was I jealous and so I've now gone and ordered a face lift 133 in white, cup pack and black wheels. Just a shame I've got to wait til august
Anyway there's my short rs history, and I'm looking forward to attending some meets and trackdays when it finally arrives
