Hi there, Names Ad, I'm 21 and i'm from North Wales but drive up and down the M6/M65 all the time, just bought a 59 Plate Twingo RS in Causticum Red with the Black Renault Sport 17" Alloys, been looking at them for ages and finally found one i liked over the weekend, booked a test drive and fell in love with the way they drive, got a lot planned for it, just going to start off with the 'quick' mods i.e Air Filter, Exhaust and maybe a Re-map, Picking it up on friday and spending the weekend driving it which is when the first set of pictures will be taken :)

Any information i should know people? Faults i need to look out for? Things to be reccomended?

One of first things guys on here recommend is taking the bung out of the filter.

Welcome

Welcome

Well there are two which jump out straight away, sorry no links as im on the phone at the moment...

1 - Leaking scuttle panel leading to damaged coils

2 - Non-starters due to a blown fuse

Apart from those i can't really think of many issues, but im sure i will be amended sooner rather than later!

Welcome I the mad house. 2 main things to check will be that the scuttle panel doesn't leak onto the coils. Just look at the coils and surrounding area to check for signs of water marks. The other thing to check will be the lower rubbers on the front suspension arms. These seem to fray and split fairly often, just turn the wheels and lye next to the car and stick your head under and you should be able to see them.

if you mean what Neil had that wasn't a blown fuse you just remove the 5 amp fuse then put back in

Cheers people! The bung has already been removed as i asked about that, will check the coils and the suspension arms when i pick it up, thanks again! :)
