Hey,

I need someones help i have two problems:

1) When i have my dipped lights on and i shine it against a wall the passenger side is alot higher than the drivers side...
Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this asap? i dont want to be pulled by the police or anything?

2) In my interior on the heating panel one of the lights have seemed to have gone out! :? The picture below might help you understand

So does anyone know how to fix these problems as soon as possible,

Thanks in advance :)

yea your heater panel has bulbs in it and it looks like one has blown!!
so just needs a new bulb,

as for headlights, it could be that your bulb is fitted wrong or has come loose in the holder.
check and if its ok then there is an allen key (6mm) on the back of your headlight that allows you to adjust them up or down

Is there a way of me changing it myself?

I love you, i will try that tomorrow when its dark again.

if u take the radio out then u should b able to get your hand up onto the back of the heater panel, then u will feel these little black square lugs- they twist and pull out and the bulbs will be clipped onto them ;)

its hard to explain but il try and sort u some pics/instructions if u want ;)

A "How To" will be great!! Only if you have some free time, what bulbs does it take so i can order some?

no idea  they are pissy little ones!! karl should no what they are called

Okay thanks, when will you be able to do a how to? because its rather annoying tbh :p

Yeah thats fine, i will be studying, so wont have any free time to really fix anything. Thank youu :)

The near side light should be slightly higher anyway IIRC? Helps to light the lane better without blinding oncoming or something like that...

But it is quite badly out of line :/ I think i may have knocked something when fitting a bulb

I thought the drivers side light was more dipped so oncoming cars would not get dazzled.. and the passenger side light was higher to get better visibility of the road side?

Just a thought..

I was thinking that too, but this is just taken the piss

Ive noticed this on quite a few cars, like when cars behind hit a bump there passanger side light shines brighter in my eyes than the driver side light.. same with oncomeing cars that are turning and stuff.. i should be fine, if many cars are the same then it must be some kind of legal thing for visibility on the passanger side..

In regards to the headlights the likely hood of you getting stopped is minimal. A few degrees out isn't too noticeable, but you may get tugged if it looks like its running main beam on one side (where someone has just put the bulb in without getting it in the groves) So I really wouldn't worry about that mate, if its not working then its fair game!!!!
