hey guys need some help

leave the car over night and go out to turn the key, it tries hard to start but wont tick over.

turn the key of and back and on, its starts fine,.

what coudl it be?

Fuel lines/filter being blockeD? Seen it before on many older clios that started one min, then wouldn't and thenw ill again later on

Quite possible TDC however just saying a part name isn't going to help lol.

It won't cost much to replace, no more than 20 quid and you can try cleaning it. Either way, it's easy to access and change.

The TDC sensor now comes with a modifyed bit of loom with a blue connector if your current TDC sensor hasnt got the blue connector then you will need to cut and slice the new bit of loom in as the connectors are different.

TCD sensor, or CAS (crank angle) sensor provides the ecu with crank position information. Its either a hall effect or variable reluctor and uses a pulsed feed to provide the ecu with rpm information, and uses a missing tooth or teeth on the trigger wheel to refence a certain position on the crank, (usually 90 deg before tdc).
