So I thought it would be a great idea to try and vinyl wrap my clio spoiler...turns out its harder than I thought. The problem being that I can't just wrap the front and tuck the rest away hidden because it needs to look smooth etc. from all angles obviously, and I end up with lots of little creases at either end. Can anyone give me a bit of advice on wrapping such an object?

it wasnt that long ago i was asking myself the same questions! i wrapped mine on the GT

just got to heat it up well and pull it over the ends, let it cool for abit and then do it again, slowly but surely it will move the crease's of the spoiler. just dont pull to hard or it will split the vinyl.

on the underside of the spoiler i overlapped the vinyl by about 2 inches and then trimmed the last inch off giving me 1 smooth seem.

i have a few before, during and after pics in my progress thread from when i did mine....

It's not easy! It took me two attempts. You will never get it perfect it's impossible. With all the wrapping that iv done I still get the odd bubble and small crease. Good luck!!

I'm fully expecting to get some creases but just not as many as I ended up with last night lol. Did you start from the top side? Then where next?

I cut a piece of vinyl twice the width of the spoiler and started on the top side from the middle outwards 1 side at a time. Then turned it over to do the underside. Like you have found out the ends are a right pain to do. When you originally cut your vinyl give yourself and extra 5-6" of vinyl to overlap the ends itl make it easier for you.

Ok will give it a shot, got a mate to give me a hand with it too lol. Might be slightly easier with two people but we shall see hahaha

I've got my spoiler to do as well as the front bumper lip, mirror covers and badges! hopefully I don't mess them all up or I'll run out of wrap lol
