Hey all!

My name's Danni and I'm from Northampton.

I'm planning on buying a new car in the near future, and originally decided to buy the Clio RS200, however, after looking at the insurance, tax and fuel consumption on it, I've decided to go for a Twingo.

However, I cannot decided which "version" to get!

I'm useless with cars in general, and am pootering about in a KA at the moment until I get some money to buy a new car!!

Any help or advise would be really helpful!

just another one, i'm looking on the renault website, and when i hover over the twingo link, it comes up with 4 different versiosns.. normal twingo, gordini 100, renaultsport gordini 133 and renaultsport.. what exactly is the difference between the last 3?

and how much can i customise it to suit me? as the money is coming from inheritance, and i want the car to be EXACTLY how I want it! i know that sounds spoilt of me, but if every time i get in it, i think of my gdad, i want it to make me smile

133 all the way! Like fried said, don't go for white

Yep all the Gordini 133s have gone now, I'm sure I read somewhere. The only Gordini you can buy is the 1.2 TCe, essentially the same engine as what's in the Dynamique/i-Music/Expression/GT models.

Personally go for a full house 133 with cup chassis, plus what ever options you like. Colour wise I like White with the black pack on it, but go for what ever colour you like!!

Gordini wise, there all gone brand new, but might be able to get a second hand!

Couldn't agree more with everyone else, colour is your own choice but...

RS 133, Full Fat with Cup Pack is the way to go

You also get a RS133 Cup, this get's rid of the Split rear seats for a bench, the aircon for nothing and gets rid of the tinted windows.

Hey lol nothing wrong with white!
Im guessing as you had your eye on a RS 200 clio that you would be after the Renaultsport Twingo 133, id say to get the best of both go for the FF RS with the Cup pack added on, then at least you keep the tinted windows, aircon etc.

You won't go far wrong with a 113 FF+Cup chassis like everyone has suggested, when I was looking for mine I wanted something that would make me smile daily and so far it does exactly that

P.s - the guys that are saying don't go for white their just jel they didn't go for the white themselves

Yep, I agree with the RS133 with cup pack option. Either that or a used Gordini 133 with cup pack

As most people are saying, i would go for the Full Fat 133, and the cup chassis!

And not in white, there is far too many white cars with the black i.d. pack lol :lol:

thanks for all the advice guys ill be heading down to my dealer today to see if there are any new ones. if not ill have to look at something else as im a very spoilt little girl when it comes to cars cant have used unless theres something very wrong lol!! not saying theres anything wrong with used cars, but new is all ive ever had.. even my first car was brand new off the forecourt :O
