mines got the soundpack so cant comment on standard speakers. with the upgrade its pretty decent

the standard speakers are 2 x 15 watt with 2 tweeters. aux input and fingertip controls. but alot of people have found these very lacking.

however there is teh audio upgrade which is 4 x 20 instead of the 2 15. and i find them very adequate, they have good sound. its a £160 extra on own or u get with the bluetooth sound pack or rensport monitor pack

u need to choose whihc one u get now then :p

sound pack
bluetooth sound pack
renaultsport monitor pack

If you don't fancy changing the speakers/head unit then definitely go for the sound pack.

I have the upgraded OEM stereo in my Gordini and it's a great set up but I wouldn't change it. My Mrs had the non upgraded stereo on her 133 and it was sh!te. I would say actually a genuinely naff stereo and very poor sound.

I'm currently in the process of upgrading her set up as I've now changed the head unit, door speakers and the latest addition is a compact sub to go in the back.

Do it get a sub tweak the hi's n low frequency on the standard deck tweak the bass setting on sub. It sounds great.

You'd have a job fitting mate, there's a screen in the top of the dash, microphone fitted in the roof lining etc.

Non uprated unit is just a standard head unit, a crap one but a normal DIN unit with the screen built in.

Oh right. So probably best just getting some good aftermarket speakers and running the, with the OEM HU?

Can't beat a nice headunit that does all the fancy things though ;)

Still love mine

Looks sweet.
So does it give a good sound with some after market speakers? Bluetooth? How much if you don't mind me asking?

Mmhmm. The only issue with this is whilst it can do everything a lot of them are add on packs. So equaliser, Bluetooth and the amplified pack all come as extra. I have them all but so far only the space to fit one behind the dash as I haven't had time or space to work it out.

It wasnt cheap, about £350 at the time but I got a good deal on everything all at once. With the speakers I have pioneer all round. Very happy with the quality. Just deffo needs a small something as they're not bassy at all (ideal tbh) so a small under seat sub from alpine went in to fill the sound. It's actually perfect, I don't like my teeth to fall out, and it compliments my music tastes perfectly.

Each pack is around £100 on top of that but I didn't pay near that thanks to a good friend. In fact he sorted me all the bits out and I fitted them myself in an afternoon.

Some people are put off by the lack of cd player but I only ever used my iPod before so suits me sir ;)

Well the thing is you get a nice screen in the top of the dash, to the right of the speedo if you go for the stereo upgrade. Certainly maked the dash a lot nicer. You simply get a gap if you don't get the upgrade.

My Mrs 133 dash, without the upgraded stereo :

My 133 Gordini (ignore the black surround) with the upgrade :

In terms of adding to the OEM upgrade, I'd say if you could wire in a sub you'd be laughing as that'd enhance what is already a rather good sound.

If you go aftermarket you can get a great head unit with Bluetooth built in for a lot less than Maggi paid. Although his head unit is nice. I paid about £400 for this unit form my Megane but that was about 18 months ago, you can get it for £240 and it has Bluetooth and plays various DVD/CD formats.

I'm sure all new twingos from late 2010 came with the screen weather they had the upgrades stereo or not, mines got the upgraded stereo aswell (was included with the Dynamique) but there was a bizu basic twingo that had the screen in the dash in the showroom the other day, think Renault changed the specs

Nope. 2011 cup (with updated badges etc) and no screen I'm afraid.

mine has the upgrade so used to having the screen. so if dont have the upgrade where do u see all the radio info and clock etc?

My gt had the screen on the top my rs has it on the radio bad times
