Hello french car lovers

my name is nick and i am from south lincolnshire (yes wonderful country roads everywhere)

i currently drive a 04 daihatsu charade (yawn) and will be getting the keys to my 59 twingo rs 133 next friday. i got the charade just under a year ago when i got back into driving after learning on two wheels for a few years. i have had a hot hatch before in a suzuki ignis sport. that was a hoot of a car. sold that to a mate before i got my bike licence.

i currently ride a ybr250. only did my 33bhp licence to start with. i know its abit of a commuter bike but i will be getting a sports naked bike of some sort at the end of october. probably a monster or a street triple.

anyway, i look forward to the banter on this forum

Hi! Welcome to the forum as Courtney has already said there is plenty of friendly banter on here ;)

What colour did you go for? Did you go for one with the cup chassis?

i went for a crimson one. and i didnt get the cup chassis. i did test drive a cup but roads where i live are terrible and i have had stiff suspension before and i prefered the slightly softer ride and i love air con. me bike is bad enough and thats supposed to have soft suspension

Welcome on board - enjoy your stay. :) Can't wait to see the pictures of the Twingo!

Welcome.

There are some great roads around that area for a 133 :)

i sold the white wheels and the gold wheels with the car. they did look good. i sold the ignis to a mate. i still see it occasionally. i do have a spare set of the white wheels but they could do with a clean and a powdercoat but they are only 15's. maybe put some winter tyres on them

I was looking for a set of the Enkeis for my Twingo for one reason or another *looks shifty* but 15" would throw the Speedo out by too much :/

Would be great for winter tyres though :) A nice set of wheels for winters, sounds like a plan!
